Etron Reports the Financial Results for the first Quarter of 2018

Issued on: 2018/05/04Etron Reports the Financial Results for the first Quarter of 2018 Etron Technology, Inc. (TPEx: 5351.TW) today announces its financial results for the first quarter, ended March 31th.Etron’s consolidated revenue for the first quarter was NT$ 1,369 million, down 8.6% from NT $1,498 million for the same period of the year 2017. The loss after tax for the first quarter 2018 was NT$163 million, the loss per share was NT$ 0.37.Although operation results for the first quarter showed an operational loss, Etron remains invested in the development of new solutions for DRAM, 3D Depth-Map, 360° Spherical Video Capture and USB Type-C products. Looking ahead, Etron remains cautiously optimistic for year 2018. With increased adopting of our new products and their associated positive contribution to the company’s revenue, Etron aims to turn a profit for Year 2018.
