< CES 2020> eEver’s USB Type-C E-Marker EJ903 Leading the world in supporting USB4™ and Thunderbolt 3, facilitates system manufacturer thefirst moving advantage to develop USB4™ and Thunderbolt 3
December 19, 2019

eEver Technology, Inc. and Etron Technology, Inc. (TPEx: 5351.TW) announced the USB Type-C E-Marker controller IC - EJ903 is now supports the USB4™ specifications, known as the first choice for USB4™ transmission line applications. It supports USB-C cables for dual-channel transmission. As well, it can achieve transmission rates of up to 40Gbps (Gigabits per second, 1 billion bits per second). The EJ903 also supports USB PD 3.0. It monitors and reports the length of the transmission line, the I/O interface at both ends of the transmission, the amps and current and transmission data rate it bears, thus make customers feel accountable and reliabile and put them at ease. International USB-IF announced the USB4™ specification in last September. The two companies have seized the opportunity to use the E-Marker IC EJ903 to support USB4™ accordingly. Welcome system manufacturers to joint develop the USB4™ Cables. The key to the USB4™ specification is the use of the existing USB-C cable for dual-channel transmission, which can achieve a transmission rate of up to 40Gbps (1 billion bits per second); it can effectively share the available bandwidth of the bus, and users can pass The USB cable transmits 4K HDR signals, transfers file files or connects the network to the Wi-Fi interface, thus make the significant progress of practicality and performance on USB hubs and USB-equipped computers, laptops, motherboards, etc. For USB4™, in combination with the integration of Thunderbolt 3, the convergence of the underlying Thunderbolt and USB protocols will increase compatibility - a maximum power supply of 100W, a transmission rate of 40Gbps, and the ability to connect two 4K HDR displays or one 5K display - among USB Type-C connector-based products, simplifying how people connect their devices. Since Thunderbolt 3 spec has been opened up and licensed for free, it not only reduces costs, but also takes the lead to support USB4™ (backward compatible with USB 3.2, USB 2.0). Highly integrated USB Type-C transmission line with built-in electronic tag chip, the EJ903 is a WLCSP20 Balls package that reduces the size and fully integrates all components, eliminating the need for any external components, allowing transmission line manufacturers to minimize the design of Paddle Cards. In addition, the appearance of the transmission line could be modernized, the programming fixture and the software required for customer production has been developed. eEver and Etron will display the most cost-effective system solution for USB Type-C E-Marker transmission line control IC transmission up to 40Gbps at 2020 CES. We sincerely invite you to visit the booth (Booth No. 21815, South Hall 1, LVCC) during the CES2020 from Jan 7th to 10th, 2020.
